Ironman Training Week 6 Summary

This week was supposed to be my longest training week! The time was between 14:30 – 15 hours. It really didn’t faze me, just needed to get the work done. I am really beginning to see my body transform and I love it. I can see muscles which is awesome.

Monday: 1 hour 15 minute moderate tempo ride.
Tuesday: Swim 3,650 yards. Bike 60 min @ 90 + rpms.
Wednesday: Bike 74 minutes. Lift 90 minutes.
Thursday: Swim 3,700 yards. Bike 1 hour 15 minute progression ride.
Friday: Bike 60 min @ 90 + rpms. Run 30 minutes. Lift 1 hour.
Saturday: Bike 2 hours and 15 minutes. Progression with heart rate within two 50 minute intervals.
Sunday: Bike 60 min @ 90 + rpms. Swim 2,200 yards straight – easy. Warmed up with an easy 200 so 2400 total for the day.

Swim: 9,750 yards
Bike: 9 hours
Run: 30 minutes
Strength: 2 hours 30 minutes
